I am a retired executive who loves to learn. Five years ago, I commenced picking a socio-political subject, ordering multiple research books on the subject, selecting illustrative excerpts, then weaving those excerpts into different aspects of the subject matter. After typing up the resultant learnings I distributed it to friends and family. It has been met with considerable success, so I decided with the help of my daughter to create the best of the material into a blog. It has become my hobby. My intent is to have others learn with me, not to teach or indoctrinate. I work to minimize my biases. My executive experience has been with three different companies: Procter and Gamble, Scott Paper, and Sappi Fine Paper (a South African firm).
