Learning is a continuous process requiring updated information to both solidify past information and enhance it via new knowledge. That is the purpose of the Current Series.
The series will contain 17 epilogues providing new research and knowledge on each of the past six series – five epilogues on Climate Change, one on Socialism, two on Big Tech & Artificial Intelligence, three (maybe four) on China, three on Nihilism, and three on Globalization. Each past series set will have its own syllabus, book listing and introduction for its respective epilogues.
The epilogue information will be additive to what is contained in the Past Series for each. At the conclusion of this Continued Learning series the epilogue information will be moved to the end of each respective past series. Therefore, this Continued Learning series will not become a stand-alone series.
I found that the epilogue information greatly enhanced my understanding and knowledge on each of the past series particularly for the Climate Change, China, and Globalism ones. I hope you will experience the same. At the end of this continued learning series, a learning summary for the entire blog to date will be posted.
Happy Learning, Harley

Dear Friends and Family,
Big Tech has many similarities to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Both shut off dissent, both enact censorship of opposing views, both attempt to stifle free speech, both eliminate debate, and both have a view they are superior to the average citizen. As a result, both are anti-democratic.
How this evolved in America is the focus of Epilogue One – “The Silicon Leviathan.”
This poses a huge problem for America in effectively competing against China for Artificial Intelligence dominance in the world, as we are reliant on the private sector (Big Tech) for AI development and implementation. Given Silicon Valley’s ideology plus their strong business ties with China one questions their AI goal alignment with America and its needs. Whereas in China goal alignment is in place as the CCP controls AI development and implementation in the country. Some in the U.S. are attempting to achieve goal alignment via AI policy as described in Epilogue 2 -- “AI Policy Making.” The probability of success through that sole means is limited.
