The excerpts for this segment will come from two books: The Hundred Year-Marathon (2013) by Michael Pillsbury and Unrestricted Warfare (1999) by Col. Qiao and Col. Wang of the People’s Liberation Army of Communist China. The excerpts from the first book describes the goals of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) which is to become the only world superpower by 2049. The second book provides some insight as to how they expect to accomplish that via asymmetric warfare.
When first hit with the above goal of the Chinese Communist Party, one most naturally questions if it is true of not. Segment 2 is to provide additional information that it is indeed true. The excerpts for this segment will come from three different books: Bully of Asia (2017) by Steven W. Mosher and Trump vs. China (2019) plus Trump and the American Future (2020) by Newt Gingrich.
All the excepts for this segment come from China Rx – Exposing the Risks of America’s Dependence on China for Medicine (2018) by Rosemary Gibson and Janardan Prasad Singh. These excerpts describe how China is the sole supplier to the U.S. and world for many branded prescription drugs, the sole supplier of a high percentage of generics, and the sole supplier of key active ingredients for some over-the-counter medication.
The excerpts in this segment provide an overview of some of the more critical conflicts that exist today between the two countries: Theft of Intellectual Property, 5G Technology, North Korea, Taiwan, South China Sea, and Trade. Further, they provide some insights on the current negotiations between the U.S. and China, which not only includes goods traded between the two countries but also the theft of U.S. intellectual property by the Communist government. The books utilized in this segment include Bully of Asia (2017) by Steven Mosher, Trump and the American Future (2020) by Newt Gingrich and Superpower Showdown by Bob Davis and Lingling Wei of the Wall Street Journal
Segment 5 excerpts describe the five principles surrounding the Chinese threat to us and the world as well as the five significant challenges the Chinese pose. Then Newt Gingrich provides us with his perspective on what we must do as a country to meet the threat. The two books utilized in this segment are Bully on Asia (2017) by Steven W. Mosher and Trump vs. China (2019) by Newt Gingrich.
The excerpts in this segment describe a significant weakness in the U.S. infrastructure (the electric power grid) that many adversaries could advantage to create catastrophic chaos and potentially societal collapse. Such adversaries include China and Russia (widespread chaos capability), North Korea and Iran (capability close to that of widespread chaos), and ISIS and Al Qaeda (regional chaos capability). This potential is reported in the excerpts by the congressionally mandated EMP Commission who has studied the issue since 2002, an Executive Order by President Trump, and the Homeland Security Committee of the U.S. Senate, among others.
America is at risk of losing a war today because too few of us know that we are engaged with an enemy, the Chinese Communist Party, that means to destroy us. The forces of globalism that have dominated our government and our media for the better part of a half century have blinded too many Americans to the threat we face. This epilogue will highlight some of those threats.
There have been reports of concentration camps in the northwest part of China which have imprisoned thousands of Muslims including Uighurs and Kazakhs. One such Kazakh escaped from one of these camps and wrote about her experience in The Chief Witness. This epilogue contains excerpts from that book which are quite revealing about the character of the Chinese Communist Party.
China with its 1.4 billion people is a very large and profitable market for U.S. companies. This has led to many close relationships between the titans of Wall Street and Silicon Valley with prominent members of the Chinese Communist Party. Investigative reporter Peter Schweizer reports on some of these relationships in his 2022 book Red-Handed: How American Elites Get Rich Helping China Win.
The relationship between the CCP and American Elites has not been restricted to the titans of industry. They have also extended to very prominent and powerful North American politicians, including the Biden Family, Diane Feinstein, Nancy Pelosi, Mitch McConnell, John Boehner, the Bush Family, the Trudeau Family, Henry Kissinger, Alexander Haig, Madeline Albright, and William Cohen. Excerpts from Peter Schweizer’s book Red Handed provides some of the details.
